The Arkansas Research Center (ARC) was created by a grant from the Institute for Education Sciences. We strive to improve education by making student data useful to a wide range of people and organizations. This page is a portal to some of our tools. Use the menu above to find out more about us, and what we do. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need help with any of these applications.
Hive
The hive website allows users to access and customize standardized test results over time and compare data between demographic groups, helping users identify important trends in student data by allowing them to create, share, and discuss the data through five types of data visualizations.
Quicklooks
The QuickLooks website allows users to quickly profile districts and schools over time with prepared visualizations, supplemental to the main hive website.
Testlabels
The Testlabels website allows testing coordinators to verify class rosters before testing labels are mailed out.
Buzz
Buzz is a smartphone/iPad application which allows teachers to record DIBELS test scores in real-time. You can use this app from a web browser, but it will look strange since it uses jQuery Mobile technology, designed for small screens.
